Glen Weir
Glen Weir took a different route to CFL stardom. He was a graduate of the Senior ORFU London Lords. He began his career with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1972 but was traded to Montreal that season. From 1972 to 1984 he was a mainstay of the Alouettes/Concorde defense, earning an Eastern Conference Defensive award in 1977 and finishing second in the Schenley defensive award voting. He was named to the CFL’s Eastern Conference All-Star team five times and to the CFL All-Stars twice. He has a Grey Cup ring too!
