Jon Warden played 28 games as a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers in 1968. He was 21 years old and had a 4-1 record. The next year he was drafted by Kansas City and had the misfortune to tear his rotator cup in his shoulder while in Spring Training. Warden’s baseball dreams were shattered, however he remains involved with the sport in a variety of capacities.
