Jamie Taras had an outstanding 16-year career in the CFL, playing for the BC Lions. He was a key member of two Grey Cup championships in 1994 and 2000 and held the position of Team Captain from 1994-2002. Throughout his career, Jamie was both a nominee and recipient of many individual honours. In 1999 he was recipient of the Tom Pate award. In 2003, he was selected as a member of the BC Lions Dream Team (a team consisting of the all-time greatest players to ever don a BC Lions Uniform). In 2004 he was inducted into the Lions Ring of Honour (one of only 8 players in the history of the BC Lions).
