Played a total of 161 games in the CFL as a guard.  Started his career with the BC Lions in 1982 where he stayed until 1989.  Gerald was a Western Allstar in consecutive years starting in 1987 and was also a CFL Allstar in 1988.  Gerald was traded to the Ottawa Roughriders in 1989 where he finished his career in 1991.  As a Roughrider he was an Eastern Allstar in 1990 and 1991.  Gerald played in three Grey Cups winning one with BC in 1985.
