Tom Richards is a homegrown Edmontonian who played in the CFL from 1986 till 1990 with the Eskimos. Tom was nominated for Rookie of the Year in the CFL in 1986. He was a perennial all-star with the U of A Golden Bears and Edmonton Huskies.

He was part of the Eskimos Grey Cup Championship victory in 1986.
