Alondra has been the heart and soul of the Calgary Stampeder’s defence over the past 13 years. Alondra has been a Western Division All-Star 5 times, Northern Division All-Star 1 time, All-Canadian 3 times and Most Outstanding Defensive Player for the Western Division in 1998. Has played in 6 Grey Cups winning 3 with the Stampeders. After the 2002 season he was named the winner of the coveted President’s Ring that goes annually to the Stampeder player voted by his teammates as their inspirational leader on and off the field.
