Gord Elser was drafted in the 2nd round by the Toronto Argonauts after playing at the University of Calgary. He was touted as fearless and the toughest kid in camp during his first year in the CFL. Elser won a Grey Cup with Toronto in 1983 and went on to finish his career with the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
