Giulio Caravatta
Giulio Caravatta was signed by the BC Lions as a free agent in 1991. He would go on to spend the next eight seasons with the Lions, both as a backup quarterback and backup punter. Giulio was with the Lions in 1994 as they went on to win their third Grey Cup championship in franchise history. He spent four more years with the club before retiring in 1998. Giulio went on to become a fire fighter with West Vancouver Fire and Rescue Unit and began his career as the Lions colour man during the 2000 season, soon joined by Lions play-by-play man Rick Ball in the broadcast booth in 2004.
