TV Star Tours with Allstars

Zachery Ty Bryan grew up in front of the world as Brad, Tim and Jill Taylor’s oldest son, on Home Improvement. Born and raised in Aurora, Colorado, Bryan got his start as an actor doing commercials and print work in Denver. His interest in acting brought him to California, where he quickly landed his role on one of television’s most popular sitcoms.

Since his success on Home Improvement, Bryan has never looked back. He has starred in the Hollywood Pictures film First Kid, opposite Sinbad; True Heart, which costars Kirsten Dunst; and in the family adventure films Bigfoot: The Unforgettable Encounter and Magic Island. He also had roles in The Wonderful World of Disney’s telefilm Principal Takes a Holiday, as well as The Rage: Carrie 2, Longshot and, most recently, A Killing Spree, and Slammed.

Notable television appearances include guest spots on Philly, Boston Public, ER, Teen Angel, Touched by an Angel and Family Law.

Just as art reflects life, like his athletic Home Improvement alter-ego, Bryan’s life passion, alongside acting, is sports.

Bryan plays competitive soccer and has won many trophies and medals. His exceptional athleticism earned him spots in national and international tournaments including the 1995 California South Olympic Development soccer team for boys under fourteen.

In 1996, his team “The Stars” were invited to the Dallas Cup, America’s most prestigious amateur international soccer tournament, in which they came in second to Bolivia. That same year, the Stars won the Far West Regional Championship as well.

In addition to playing the game, Bryan has hosted a soccer video titled Let’s Play Soccer produced by ESPN. He also served as Youth Ambassador for World Cup ’94, where he served as a spokesman and goodwill advocate for American soccer.

In addition to his soccer prowess, Bryan also played baseball for a team called The Yankees in Los Angeles where he played pitcher, catcher and shortstop on occasion.

Even though Bryan has a busy schedule, he finds time for what’s very important to him: his fans and his charity work. It’s important to Bryan to use his good fortune to help out as many people as he can.

He has made numerous appearances across the U.S. and Canada. His charity work involves organizations such as the Emily Anderson Center, the D.A.R.E. program and the Starlight Foundation for terminally ill children. He has also worked on behalf of children’s AIDS, children’s cancer and underprivileged kids. Bryan was also involved with Kids Save the Animals and joined NFL quarterbacks in hosting Kids for Kelly, an event to raise money for disadvantaged kids.
