Started his CFL career with Toronto in 1977 and later went on to play with Winnipeg and Hamilton. In 11 seasons Paul was a CFL All-star 3 times and won the Schenley Most Outstanding Canadian Player twice. When Paul retired he had set records in punt return yards, punt return carries and interception return yards. He won a Grey Cup with Hamilton in 1986.
